I jog about 3 times a week, twice half an hour and maybe a longer 45min jog at the weekend, half road/half beach. Is ther any benefit to the trainers in the €90-100 range versus the €50-60

any places in Dublin city centre to watch out for or avoid?

The link is to an article from the British Journal of Sports Medicine. It concludes that cheaper shoes provide the same level of cushioning as more expensive models and that comfort is subjective, but not linked to cost.
Personally I think style is a sadly underestimated aspect of running shoes.

apologies for the thread hijack, but rather than start a new one I thought I'd ask here first.

Any recommendations as to where I can buy trainers online, am looking for a specific pair and have only managed to find them on UK site and they want £15 delivery which is just crazy

With regards to the amount you should spend on running shoes, there have been studies (can't find the link right now sorry) that indicate that the more expensive the running shoe the more likely the runner is to suffer injury......interesting really.

Wiggle should have free delivery - that is, if they have the trainers you want!
