3 coverage Millstreet

    Hi can anyone tell me what the coverage is like for three mobile in Millstreet cork ,So any advice would be very much appreciated , Where is 3 mobile sites in North Cork,and does the sites have 3G , What has being your experience of the speed of 3G.Also does Vodafone share the sites internet with 3

    all 3's sites are 3G only so if their is a 3 mast around you are guarenteed to get 3G signal..i generally get good enough speeds on 3 but it varys alot on differant areas depending on how many people use 3 in cork will depend on the speed you get..
    vodafone does not proivde data services to 3 only text and calls so when you move out of 3's 3G signal area the broadband will not work but text and calls will suggest you check coverage at your address on the 3 website and see if you can get broadband from them !!

    Parts of millstreet are NBS areas and three claim to be live in all of them.

    grey on this map I am afraid , However on the 3 website looks to be good mobile broadband coverage in area , any thoughts on that , By the way thanks everyone for the reply

    3 website is utterly meaningless, they show coverage about 15km out to sea in places which is impossible.

    Where in millstreet mick. There is a new mast in Rathcoole at the moment.

    Hi , thanks for the reply , well manely millstreet town and aubane area ,where in rathcool is the tranmitter based ,like do you know the townland or mountain area ,what your experience with them ,also have a mobile with them ,and what's the coverage like with that ,thanks for all the help ,

    Mick. It should work fairly good. The mast is in Laught forestry. You should see it from the aubane road. I have it since last year. When i got it first it was a disaster but in fairness they done everything to help me. Vodafone and o2 are useless btw. If you want i can call up to you and do a speedtest. Im not working for them btw..:)
