Technical advice on Garda and crime scene

    Hi all!

As can be gathered from the subject, I need technical advisement from someone well versed in Crime scene management and the specifics of the Detectives job, so i can write my novel with greater accuracy. It's important that i set the novel in Ireland, as i think an Irish writer setting their novel in America is a bit of a cop out - forgive the pun.
I have been looking for technical assistance everywhere, even e-mailed the Gardai through their public relations, but I have been given no response.

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who was a garda or a detective, who could help me out with technical advisement, so my novel will have a greater realism.

    Thanks, everyone, for your time.
