    Preamble:
This thread / notice may prove to be beneficial to a lot of the regulars here.

The administrators of the course have contacted me privately regarding this as it wouldn't be allowed directly by them.

I have no association with this company but just providing a heads up to interested parties.

Thanks again to the moderators for allowing us to put the information on our new Renewable Energy Courses on boards.

Great news - we have received our first bookings for the hands-on 'Build a Windturbine' Workshop, which is on in September (8-evenings) and October (3 days, 1-3Oct). More info: www.imecofarm.com - click on workshop image on right (link fixed :)).

Any questions regarding the Courses but also for Renewable Energy and the building of DIY solutions are very welcome.

There is an Eco Forum that we are putting together to give people the chance to really ask all their questions, which will be on every last Thursday of the month. Also the 1/2 and 1 day courses aim to introduce people to topics they are new to.

Finally, if anyone has ideas for more Courses or anything else we can or should be providing, please do let us know - feedback would be really great (particularly at this early stage of the Eco Farm).

    Thanks again, Carmen. www.imecofarm.com

PS: Hope this message wasnt too promoting now... but it is really sooo exciting to be part of this project and we are working super-hard to make these courses and information resource available to people. :o

    Great NEWS!
Our favorite 'Build your own Wind Turbine' Workshop (3-days hands-on) is booked out and we had no choice (and are delighted to) but to actually make a new one available (ahead of the official release of our winter brochure).
New dates are: 05-07Nov and you can see more details here:
    http://www.imecofarm.com/course_calendar.htm

We are really getting great support at the Renewable Energy and Eco Centre and are making sure to give back and hope to make people feel more at ease with Renewables as much as we can, here two examples:

Every two weeks the Clare Champion now features our main Eco man Eddie in an eco column called 'Green Energy Living'. Last week the topic was Wind Turbines and the next one to come on 23rd Sep will be all about Solar... we invite readers to send us their questions on each topic on eddie@imecofarm.com.

Once per month, every last Thursday (i.e. next one coming up on 30th Sep), we hold an Eco Forum and invite speakers on a particular topic. Last one was Wind Energy and the next one to come will be Rain Water Harvesting.

Thanks so much to everyone for reading and supporting us!
