Im trying to remember the name of this American sitcom which I think was on RTE back in the 90's. It seems ages ago now anyway.

Alot of it took place in an apartment. I think one of the people in it was a cartoonist or comic book illustrator, definetly an artist of some description. He was always drawing on a big canvas over on the left hand side of the screen near a big window looking out on the city. Then his flatmate would come in and they'd talk shoíte. I think the whole thing really only centered around 2 people, but Im not sure. Its a weird one, cos Im pretty sure I used to watch this regularly but I can barely remember anything about it!

    Does it ring any bells?

"Too Close For Comfort", later called "The Ted Knight Show" could be the one you're thinking of.

Yeah, probably caroline in the city. The reason you can't remember it is because it was crap.

That's Lea Thompson. She was real popular with 80s brat pack movies. I think she was in back to the future and war games.

1/2 right. You're thinking of Ally Sheedy for Wargames.
