Problem activating iphone 4 with three

i rang three up today and they said they cant find any details on my phone and i have to wait 24 hours to get it activated wtf anyone else have this problem

You activate it through itunes, 3 don't activate you do.

If the sim is not working, i.e you can't make calls they probably need to activate you account, I presume you bought this off telesales, any one sold in a store is nearly working before it leaves the shop.

yeah sorry i meant activate account i cant make calls or anything said it will take 24h then after that i am able to port my number could take awhile

That's probably because you bought from telesales, they could not send out an active phone in case it went missing. I'd call them again, it shouldn't take 24hrs, maybe an hour tops. If they can get it on before 4 and you can get the port in on time your number may still change to 3 today.

just wondering when the iphone isnt activated is it meant to be really quiet ringing people because mine is and yes i turned it up

How can you make phone calls if the phone is not active??

it still isnt working damn this is annoying i try to make calls and it puts me straight threw to three technical service and then they said it will take 24h again i dunno what to do
