We'll be moving to back Athlone (from overseas) in 2011.

I'd appreciate any useful resources people have used in jobhunting in the Athlone area in the last 2 years.

newspapers, good recruitment agents, internet fora etc.

Also if anyone were to know of new start ups in the Athlone area (not the China thing, I know about it already)

    thanks y'all.

All I can say is goodluck. Jobs outside Dublin are extremely rare (And they are extremely rare in Dublin) To be honest the only thing you can do is browse monster.ie, jobs.ie, the local paper etc. every day you can and apply for anything applicable. It really is a nasty job market out there.

Collins Mc Nicholas are the only agency in Athlone. And pretty much any vacancy going is advertised on the web... jobs.ie, irishjobs.ie, monster.ie. If you can't find anything on them, you pretty much have to send out speculative applications!
