    Hi guys,

Basically my mother is treating me to laser eye surgery and it's costing 2750 euro they matched the norths price and we were told we can claim tax back however she doesn't work and I'm self employed with a very bad income this year so I reckon I'll only be paying the income levy.

Basically the immediate family is all in the same boar regarding tax payments.

Is there any point in me sending in a med 1 or will I just take the hit on the cost or will I still get the money back in a cheque

If you don't pay tax this year, you won't get tax back because of a Med1.

Would it be worth delaying until Jan, maybe things will improve in 2011.
