There is but be warned; it's accessed on the Drumcondra Road entrance only and not easily accessed unless you are coming on the city bound lane. It's well signposted but as always, get there early to avoid disappointment.

To be honest, it's best to go via public transport for as much of your trip as possible. If you have to drive, park as far away from Croke Park as you can. Around the immediate vicinity of the ground is chock a block with many streets closed off. Those streets that are open close by will be paid parking only and believe me, any free empty spaces will almost be taken this early in the day. Clampers are almost one per car around here so if you take a chance in a gateway or road line or in a paid space without a valid ticket then you will be clamped, no questions about it.

A handy alternative is to use the car parks in either Connolly or Heuston Station and to bus/luas/walk it in as they will all save you hassle and worry for just €4.

Not a very handy alternative though as you're coming from Tyrone though is it :D

Clonliffe wouldn't be a bad option for yourself coming down the M1 direction. I've used it coming down from teh border myself this year and a few times over the past few years. Havent seen a full sign up there for a while now (admitedly I normally get the enterprise so only use Clonliffe about once per year)

only hassle I saw with it was coming out between games earlier this year and trying to leg it across 3 or 4 lanes to try get onto the northbound lane but if you're coming out with the main crowd I've seen the guards stopping traffic to get cars out. And in the instance above I still only had to wait about 30 seconds to get a gap. €10 parking fee payable as you get to the end of the lane leading up to the parking area.

    PS best of luck tomorrow.

It is, actually. You could be into the car park in Connolly in 10-15 minutes from the M 1 via the Port Tunnel. €3 each way and €4 for parking; that's €10 and you are on the doorstep :) Clonliffe car park is €10 last time I heard plus that road is bonkers so it's even steven.

That's the other killer; it often takes forever to get out of it! Pick a bad spot and you could even be the guts of an hour!!!:eek: Sometimes a Garda will help them to get out so bear with it:)

Croke Park Stadium is situated in a residential area that has limited parking. Local residents have the right to expect priority on this parking.

In fairness try to be somewhat responible and either park well away from the stadium or use a club-organised bus. http://www.crokepark.ie/about/getting-here/directions
