Which Desire rom are you using

What would be the advantage over the Official Froyo HTC Sense ROM that I'm using at the moment? I know I could just go and try it but it's a pain in the behind to back up stuff, do the flashing & then put all the apps back again afterwards.

My current ROM seems pretty good, has the odd quirk but hopefully the forth coming 2.2 update from HTC will sort those out.

PAMG: I installed this a few days ago, but have found that it doesn't seem to save the homescreen layouts after a restart. That and the news widget seems to be buggy in that it leaves "ghosts" of the headlines as you scroll down them.
It also seems to be a bit harder on the battery life.

That said the Wireless is much improved and the phone seems a lot more responsive generally, but are you having the same problems as above?

A lot of the roms seem to be converging on a common set of features. I'm using LeeDroid 1.7a (it's already on 'b' and will be 'c' by this time tomorrow i expect!), but i think there are a few that will give me the same feature set. The features i like on this rom are

latest official froyo&sense
battery % mod
proper apps2sd
built in backup app
trackpad to wake

I've nicked the HTC car dock apk out of another rom and installed it. I imagine i could use any one of 5 roms and still have my wishlist, but leedroid is updated very frequently.

What are all your reasons and must-have features? (and is there anything else i can nick from other roms?)

Im using OpenDesire 2.2 (HTC Froyo). If I want to put 3.0 will it wipe everything, or is it possible to just "upgrade" to it?

I moved to LeeDroid a few days back which solved my problems above, but since then I haven't been able to receive MMS messages.

I've had a look at the FAQ/Settings post on the main forum and I've managed to get the MMS working (the APN Names sections were blank) but do I also need to enter the ISP/WAP ones as well?

Actually, could anyone on Meteor Billpay with a Desire check what they have and maybe post a screenshot/the details so I can check what I have?

Also, is there any way to check if the wireless is using G or N to connect?
The radio update for NeoPhyte included Wireless-N compatibility, but the one for LeeDroid didn't specify (although it is a later version number).

I use modaco froyo rom. Havent noticed any bugs or problems. Its pretty quick and batt life is fine. I spent a week kinda trying all the different roms out and this one is the quickest on my phone so far.

it wont wipe anything, back up just in case though
