I have suffered severe depression recently and have had a quite rough time of it. At home resting I came across Boards.ie and it has been a life saver!

doing well know, back working but those hard days and nights I found solace in reading and replying in threads.

Fantastic posters and top notch threads.

    Boards.ie I thank you.

Just mind you don't get addicted to boards. If you find (a) You're spending a lot of time in bed, eating cold baked beans out of a tin while using your laptop (b) You start saying 'LOL' or 'tl;dr' during conversations with people (c) Your post count is longer than your phone number, GET OUT while you can.
Until that, glad you've been enjoying boards and getting better. :)

    Is this a wind-up?

    Is this a wind-up?
Can't answer that myself but I know there are some great people on Boards.ie
They have kept me going at times, offered support and sometimes even put up with my daftness.

If one can spot the trolls and baiters, its fairly easy to get great enjoyment out of boards.ie - and you sometimes get an education to boot. I know I do.

The thunderdome cheers me up some days even though I don't post there. Some great slagging in there.

OP, check out the thunderdome just don't post if you might be sensitive to abuse

That is the worst metaphor I have ever read.

It wasn't a metaphor, it paraphrased a biblical passage.

    ...NVM, I get it now...;)
