    Hi all,

Anyone remember those little black pads that had different colour buttons on it that made "space" noises?

They were about the same size as a car keyfob. I'm dying to get one again!

Yes I do. About 6 options on it if I recall correctly. I'll keep an eye out in the €2 shop next time I'm in there.

Any idea what these were actually called?

Were these the ones that helped you find your keys if you whistled at them? I'm sure I saw one lying around a friend's house a few weeks ago, if I recall correctly it had "Echo Keyller" or something like that written on it.

I know the things you're talking about but no, I'm on about something totally different. These things just played kind of sci-fi noises when you pressed the different coloured buttons. Similar sounds to the ones that some toy guns from years ago played.

I've moved the thread to Toys & Boardgames, op. Hopefully you will get more info here.

I've seen themed ones (Star Wars, Mr. T, etc) in Debenhams around christmas time, and I seem to recall seeing them in Forbidden Planet and other comic-type shops. Try there, if you're near em. The website has them:
