Last week i received a ban for trolling ? This shocked and confused me as i had never heard off the term before and i thought it was some sort of racist remark towards me for being small and chubby, having pointy ears and from Clare.

I got onto my legal advisor and contemplated taking action against boards.ie for racism, but my solicitor informed me " On the Internet, troll is a slang term used to describe:
A person who makes posts (on newsgroups or other forums) that are solely intended to provoke responses from others, or to cause annoyance or offense.
A post that is intended to incite controversy or cause offense. (Many posts may inadvertently cause strife as collateral damage, but they are not trolls.)

Before this i thought trolls were http://www.saynotocrack.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/troll.jpg

    Or http://thegarland.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/1247083636-952-jpg.png

I had never intended to do this and understand that my life experiences may be difficult to understand for some people and i accept this.

I apologize sincerely for my alleged trolling and to anyone who has been offended. It wont happen again.

    Regards MiciG91
