I found an old video tape of this film, haven’t watched it in a few years. I think it’s Ken Loach’s finest film and one of my all time favourite movies. "when your a worker, it rains stones seven days a week" Powerful performances from all the cast, especially Bruce jones and Tom Hickey as the priest. Any one else seen it?

Raining Stones is, indeed, brilliant. I have it as part of a boxset with Riff-Raff, Ladybird, Ladybird and Land & Freedom all of which are also excellent. My favourite Loach film, though, is Kes.
