UVNC Single Click Help

    Hi all

Im trying to set up UltraVNC Single Click but having a problem with connection.

I've downloaded the custom.zip file and loaded it up with all my own stuff etc before uploading again for the client executable. My IP address at home is dynamic so I've gotten a hostname from no-ip.com and put that hostname in the helpdesk.txt file (not sure if this is correct, or if it's ok and just might have to do something else). I've also installed the Dynamic Update Client so my dynamic IP address is updated on my no-ip hostname.

I've got uVNC viewer running on my home computer and the Single Click executable is on another. I've got a Netopia router where I have allowed VNC services on the relevant ports (5500,5800,5900) and it all seems to be ok on my ESET firewall.

However, when I try the Single Click executable and then try connect from the 2nd computer it comes up over the notification tray thats its trying to establish a connection, but nothing comes up on my own home PC.

Im pretty sure there's something simple Im missing somewhere here, but Im not that great with networking/IPs/VNC etc. Any help is much appreciated.

    Cheers

try and vnc to the host from the host. If this connects then the problem is with the firewall.
If it doesnt then its the host.
