I have a 2004 e Class Merc and I want to get a lead that will allow me to play my Ipone 3GS thru the sound system in teh car. The stereo is a factory fitted system with an in dash 6 disc changer...

Any idea where I can get one of these leads????????

Mercedes dealerships but there not cheap.

Not sure if the 04 radio has in the Aux in ( i think thats what its called) though. And also it probably depends on the type of stereo system in the car. Merc have loads of options for head units , changers etc etc

Use an FM transmitter to play it through the radio?

    Hi guys

Thanks for the feedback. Tried the fm transmitter but the background noise was a big put off, had it tuned to 88.1. Ang suggestions to better the quality of sound?

first off fm transmitters are rubbish. no one should recommend them, it's like listening to your music through a tin can.

OP does your radio have an AUX IN? check your manual.

if so get one of these http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=178147 obviously not from belkin as that cable is a ripoff. you should be able to pick one up for about a fiver on ebay.

If I were you I would just buy the parrot mki9200 carkit and forget about leads and aux ins etc

I have one in my ml and it was worth the €200

    Tks

Matter of interest. Where did you get the parrot for €200 and was that including fitting.

I will check and see if the radio gas an aux out as that will be my first option (pure economics)

    Cheers all

    Any other suggestions welcome
