my wife is on vodafone simply at the moment and is thinking of getting an iphone 4.

as a simply customer (30 day monthly contract) is she going to be asked for 200 euro advance on her bills?

i got a 3gs earlier in the year and i wasnt asked, but ive heard rumours that this time around simply customers are being asked for this deposit (which sounds ridiculous to me)

I'd to pay it anyhow, although I was porting from O2, so maybe it's only for new customers, but I got the impression it applied to everyone

It is ridiculous but it comes off your bill anyway so just like an advance payment.
