I am interested in a house in Hartstown/Huntstown, just off Huntstown Way. Has anyone any opinions? I have lived near Sallynoggin for years, so I know a working class area can have good and bad areas, this street is ok, that one two minutes away isn't, that sort of thing. This part of D 15 looks good to me, but I'd like opinions. Thanks in advance.

I'd say Hartstown is the better of the two, more schools, shops, garage, pub, chemist, etc. Both areas are nice to live in though but there are a lot of young families and teenagers in the area. So I'd say it's a good place to move if you have a young family but if you are looking for a quiet area to retire or something I wouldn't recommend it.

Depends on what you want, or what you're willing to put up with. I can say that Huntstown and Hartstown are nowhere near as settled as Sallynoggin would be, and Huntstown/Hartstown is a much larger area than Sallynoggin is.

Hartstown and Huntstown now are probably more like what Sallynoggin was 20 to 30 years ago.

another question. Is the area prone to flooding? What was it like last winter in the cold and ice?

It's not an area that is prone to flooding.

Inglewood is a nice quiet area to live in. I have a sister living there and loves it.
