    Hi everyone

I just have to warn you about a trick "Bet365" pulled on me. I'm probably up their nose because I have withdrawn €1500 and €1000 in live roulette winnings over past 3 weeks. Last night my balance on bet365 was €2125 of which €545 was money I had paid in and the rest was winnings.

I was playing live roulette when an offer popped up on my screen that I'd get a bonus of €50 if I wagered €7500.

I need to give some background here.

    1. When you join they give you a bonus if you wager up to €1200 with 25% of the value of your wagers going to achieving that total. So I immediately thought this was a similar situation. My mistake.

    2. €7500 sounds like a lot but remember this is the value of your bets and it can accummulate very quickly. I routinely bet €500 to win €600 for example.

Anyway, the bottom line is that i didnt read the small print. They have now locked both my "winnings" and my own money until I wager €7500 on other games excluding live roulette and all the other good games. In other words crappy slot games. I also have only 30 days to reach my target of €7500 in order to claim what ever winnings I have on roulette. After 30 days, if I havent reaached €7500, the wagers i have accummulated on crappy slot games is lost and I have to start all over again, so I will probably never ever be able to withdraw my own €545.

I get that its a business and they have to do what they can to prevent people from withdrawing winnings. they want us to reinvest until we lose the money. But this is extremely underhanded.

I hit the chat button and spoke to their advisors who insisted they emailed me the T&C of this particular offer. Checked my in box and yes they did only the T&C says that 25% of roulette wagers go towards the wager total.

Oh no, I was advised! Those are the T&C'S for their August special. The screen that popped up (at 22h00 on 29/7) was their July special.

So I asked it it was correct that i could play Roullette iin August and get25% of wager total but I couldnt play in July? they said yes but they are also busy changing August's T&C's to match July.

I know at the end of the day through good fortune I am ahead of them in terms of what I had already withdrawn, but not everyone is so lucky. So I wanted to warn people. I also presume that this type of sneakiness is not limited to bet365 and that simialr websites may also be afflicted in this manner.

If anyone wants to console me I'm busy playing crappy slot games until my useless money runs out. Woe is me

Why can't you just wait the 30 days and withdraw then. It is your money after all isn't it?

Sorry if I wasnt clear. I cant withdraw my money until I reach the €7500 mark and they give me 30 days to reach €7500. If I fail they void the amount I have reached, drop it down to nil, and give me a fresh 30 days to reach €7500 from scratch.

Since posting this though, I have learned that it isnt uncommon and I am at fault for blaming bet365 alone.

i dont mind what the rules are as long as they are clearly clearly clearly advertised so that we can all follow them. Hiding this stuff in pages of small print is just underhanded.

Anyway i am wiser and they always say there is a cost for every lesson.

    Thanks for replying

Jesus that does sound quite underhanded. At least in Vegas they give you a free meal or drinks to keep you spending in their casinos....

Not sure if i'm reading this correctly. Are you saying that you were willing to make bets (over a period of time) with a value of €7,500- so that you can win a poxy stingy €50?

    I'm confusted...............
