Heading on a stag to Westport soon for a weekend.

Most of us going are somewhat familiar with Westport but anyone got any good ideas of things to do, places to eat, drink etc?? Stuff/places maybe a little different?

Probably wont be the usual type of stag do. Huge age range going. Hardcore drinkers but very into their food too. Probably not too active.

    Any suggestions welcome and appreciated.

    Day`trip Clare Island?

Climb all or part of Croagh Patrick?

Hire bikes and do the Newport Mulranny old railway cycle?

Places to stay, eat and drink in Westport already covered in previous posts here.

    Enjoy

Yes agree that Paintballing and Sea Angling worth booking.

Looked through the Sea Angling www site. The Clew Bay skippers listed are very experienced.

From long experience - sea-angling tourism going in Clew Bay since approx 1955 - they know where to find the fish.

    Tight lines

For any golfers I understand the local golf club has a good deal on green fees. You need to be fit for the back nine.
