Deaf dog doing agility

Just wondering if anyone knows of deaf dogs doing agility? Would love to pick someones brains if they've any experience

I would imagine so, may take more work than normal, but dogs can be trained with hand signals so why not?

There is a lady in the UK goes by the name of Patch who teaches agility and competes with her rescued deaf collies, Silk and T`Akaya. She's friends with Wiccaweys Border Collie rescue so if you join their forum, you can find out more about her there. The deaf collies came from Limerick.

Another member of the forum, Margaret, does agility with her deaf collies Tigger and Daisy, too (Tigger also came from Limerick.)


They're a friendly bunch on the Wiccaweys forum and have pots of advice!
