Also, it says that they were issued with £120 charges, but were released for £70 as they were paid within 14 days -- does that mean that they'd leave it sitting there for 14 days hogging the space for a mere £120?

I just hope he will buy the clamping company and sack the douchebag who clamped him just because he has enough money to do it.

Clamping a car to stop it from parking in a space....that it's already in....is like having sex to stop the spread of std's.

You'd think that if you spent that much on a car you'd have a feature to immediately zap anyone who dares to interfere with it. or at the very least drop the suspension once the clamper puts his hand under it

(given the week thats in it) it reminds me of the Galway races a few years ago; someone from LAnd Rover parked their own Range Rover on a roundabout and went racing. got clamped of course, and didn't call them till he was ready to go home.

cheapest piece of advertising they ever did.

You'd think that if you spent that much on a car you could afford to have someone teach you how to park properly.

These guys don't care about how or where they park. They probably didn't have any change to pay seeing as they don't have anything smaller than £100 notes on them all the time. If the cars were towed away they'd probably just buy new ones.
