    Hi,

I have a query for any Apple heads around.

I us Spotify here in Ireland. Although it's not available in Ireland I am registered via my sister's credit card who lives in London.

I got a new iPhone today but can't get the Spotify App because it's not available in the Irish store. I can't switch store countries as I'm registered (credit card etc.) in Ireland.

    Anyway around this??

    Thanks

Open itunes on your pc/mac, log out of your irish account, change the store at the bottom of the screen to uk, go into the app store and download spotify.

It will then ask for payment details, you will need a different email address to your irish itunes account, and any legit uk postal addrsss including post code, I used the BBCs address.

You will get the option to select "no payment details" on the sign up page choose that and you should be able to sign up and download free apps, including spotify from the uk store.

The only thing to remeber is that the spotify app will only update from the uk store, but it will work fine and sync fine if you are on your Irish login on the Irish store.

The instructions above should see you right - just log in to the app store with your iTunes uk details when you need to update. I've been using the spotify app that way since launch with no problems

No worries, the most important step is to try to download spotify/any free app before setting up the uk itunes account otherwise you wont get the option to continue without putting in payment details.
