I was using mine this week, same 44 gal sprayer, but it stop last Monday working, parts are mad expensive, I have spent €296 on it so far since Monday, went for parts 3 days this week, it was a process of elimination to try to get it working, new seals all round, new suction hoses fitted inside and outside, new values in the pto pump and also fitted new rubber seal in the pump, new diaphragm cover, new plastic insert in other diaphragm with 30lbs of pressure, still no joy in getting it working

I spend 3 days trying to get it working, I had already 45 acres of spraying completed so far this summer between boom spraying and hand lance.

still think it something to do with the pto pump??

So dropped it to the main dealer today, he said I covered every thing as regards seals and so on, now seems I have to wait for the real bill?

The main dealer did also said that sprayers are giving lots of trouble after the frost this year, he thought this was my problem, but no, had already good bit of spraying completed.

Theres a kit for the valve to turn it on and off which can go regularly enough, have you changed that?? Its in the housing to the top and front of the tank.

Hi Crystalmac, Sorry to hear about all the trouble your having with that sprayer of yours! God I don't feel too bad now with my bill!

Seems you've covered alot their to try get it working, was told by my hardi dealer 30psi aswel goes in 'the ball'. I had to change the diaphragm aswel one year. I've noticed the seal holding on the mesh filter on the end of the suction hose inside the sprayer is kinda perished. (I'd say it was from sitting in the sump all winter and I didn't drain it from the bung last year)

Let us know how/when you get sorted with your sprayer. I'd be interested to know what the hell has gone wrong.

How old is your sprayer by the way? We bought ours in 1999, always housed after use. Pity they didn't galvanise the frame and booms though. Even though it is not too bad, I'm half thinking I'I take it apart and respray it to keep her in good knick;)
