Rally Finland 2010

Mikko Hirvonen has crashed his Ford Focus RS WRC out of the Rally Finland lead on SS4.

    Balls:(

I hope Petter does it now..
The Finn rolled four or five times on a fast right-hand bend after a jump, 9km into the Urria stage. It’s a corner Mikko has described previously as his favorite in the whole championship. Both Mikko and his-co-driver Jarmo Lehtinen are reportedly okay, but the car is said to have been destroyed.

Hirvonen's exit means that Petter Solberg has moved back into the lead of the rally with his privateer Citroen C4 WRC.

"It's a long rally," said Solberg. "I'm trying to be careful and not be a hero. But we've got a good chance."

Jari-Matti Latvala is now second overall in the Focus WRC, while Citroen Junior Team driver Dani Sordo lies third after the fourth stage. Sebastien Loeb is fourth after struggling with handling problems to his C4 since he hit a bank on the previous stage. Sebastien Ogier is in fifth place with the second factory Citroen.

Now I can only hope that Latvala could win the race.

Hirvonen is ok, but will not continue tomorrow. Also there was a rumor that power streering broke down in jump and therefore Hirvonen went out, after the jump.

400,000 debt after 2009 is what happened it

That accompanied by the wholesale rampant raping of WRC tourists in and around the stages in the West/North West by those providing anything from accommodation to alcohol!

No it was the change in the exchange rate.. The £ got weaker and wasent worth as many euros, the event was one of the most watched on TV and worked.

The FIA say it is too close to the UK market and as rally GB is on there they dont want two rallys so close to each other. They are working to get the rally here for 2012

Also WRC is dead. Hopefully the Circut of Ireland will get a spot in the IRC which could bring live stages and 20-30 S2000 cars!!! They did a top job this year!

400,000 euros? That's paltry. One Junior Minister's expenses for a year is all that is
