You bought Harrods for £1.5bn? Well, that's very nice sir... but we're still clamping

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1298651/New-Harrods-owners-cars-worth-1-5m-CLAMPED.html

Looking on the bright side, at least the owners won't have much trouble stumping up the parking fine.
But even when you've just bought Harrods for £1.5billion, and the cars are among the fastest and most exclusive in the world, getting them clamped is still a bit of an inconvenience.
The uniquely liveried supercars belong to the Qatari royal family, which bought the flagship store three months ago.

On the left is a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce, worth £350,000. In front of it is a bespoke specification Koenigsegg CCXR, one of only six in the world and worth a staggering £1.2million. article-0-0A9C6E8A000005DC-947_634x471.jpg

    Nice :D

You spend a million quid on a car and you buy it in that colour? FFS

If you are gonna park somewhere you shouldn't, don't chance it if the colour of your car stands out more than ****ING SUNLIGHT!!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,918 ✭✭✭✭orourkeda

You'd think they'd take the trouble to learn how to park them

agreed - they would look less like toy cars if they were silver, or even dark blue/black

could be, or an exercise to show the common shoppers (is there such a thing?)of Harrods that they have the same "problems"
reminds me of the Absolutely Fabulous episode where Eddie and Patsy did something similiar

    Publicity stunt all the way............
And a good one at that......

You'd think after paying £1.2m for a car that you could pick a decent colour to paint it.

Pix of it before they decided to mess it up

One of the cars has a top speed of 249mph?

What sort of a twat drives that around in London city centre traffic?

If you were any good at lip reading would that make it rich clit chick lit?

He'll probably just buy the clamping company and fire the douchebag who clamped him, just because he can.

They're not too far off the Dublin GAA colours. Just need a darker blue stripe up the middle.

how could a clamper clamp a car like that ?
if I owned that car and saw it was clamped I would murder the clamper literally.

those wheels alone are prob 10k each
surely the pic of the clamp may have scraped those wheels

besides hasn't anyone else learnt yet that the rich live under different rules to us poor folk
