The windows old folders is taking up over 60 gigs!

My main concern is that have I lost all my documents and music? Or is there a way of re installing All of it?

You can try one with many programs in net (f.e. http://undeleteplus.com/, http://www.winundelete.com/). Find free of charge version (full working) download it and than activate it.

If it's in the windows old folder can it not just be reinstalled easily enough?

Everything is in it including my norton anti virus!

If I just re install some of these programs are they not just wasting up more meomry?

Don't worry about antyvirus program. You can easily download free version. No. You can't reinstall if it's in Windows old folder. Download as many programs as You can, recover Your documents and music files and the rest delete it.
