Just curious to see what car all you lot done your test in, especially if it's something rare or obscure.

I myself did my test in my 1990 Nissan Micra (this one to be precise) back in 2004, passed in it too first time. Great car it was, the lack of power everything made me feel like I was actually driving the car if you know what I mean! :)

In this, the way it is :]

I managed to rev up to 6k out of instict once and the tester commented on the noise being 'nice' and that he didn't mind it :o

Peugeot 206, only bought it 6 months before the test and only had my learners licence a few weeks before I bought it. It's the car I learned to drive in and it's parked up at my g.f's house waiting for our return from Korea

I passed first time too. This was in February.

Everything in bold. I do not park in his girlfriends house, at least not while she's in Korea with him.

I passed in March 06, first time \0/. I miss my 206, I sold it to my sis when I moved in with the gf and she sold it 6 months later for €100 more. Bitch. Now I share a heap of a golf with my gf it's about to explode.

On an unrelated note, anyone wanna buy a Golf? :o

98 Toyota Starlet - an absoloutley fantastic car - it is such a great runner and it has had no problems at all since it was bought - except it didn't start once during the cold spell in January, but I'm putting that down to the cold weather reducing the battery's effectiveness :P

02 Fiat Punto. Around the time when the thing was overheating constantly was a nervous auld test. Didn't help that the instructor wouldn't say a word to me from the start until finish only to bark instructions. He gave me a 5 min lecture about entering a roundabout with a truck before giving me my licence. A lecture & a licence in one day.....

2005 fiesta- just passed a few weeks ago. It's my car which I think helps since you get used to your own car. My friend is due to do hers soon in a 17 year old car with no power steering but she says the same- once you're used to the car it's fine
