O2 Retail are selling the iPhone 4 for current o2 customers ONLY. You must be on O2 since 1st of June to avail of one.

After that, the 16GB is around €589 and 32GB €689. Double check the prices on www.o2.ie as I could be off by a few Euro... :pac:

What stupid prices, you might aswel just buy sim free for a 10er more.

Somehow I dont think your quoted ''sim free'' prices are correct. Does the Apple store actually display those prices??

I expect sim free to be around

    €650 for 16GB

    €750 for 32GB

Price from Apple.ie will be 599 for 16gb 699 for 32gb. Its on the website:)

    Thats crazy!

If I were you I'd buy it through Apple. Considering you want prepay anyway! You might have to wait a couple of weeks but at that price, the wait will be worth it.

    Good luck :D

    The VF PAYG Prices are

    16GB : €589
    32GB : €689

And the still don't know if it will be unlockable if you've spent €127 on credit
in the last six months(this is where Apple are in control).

Beware O2 site said earlier they are only selling them on contract so they cost more e.g. handset may only cost €279 at first but after you pay €40 a month for 18 months that's another €720 on top!

O2 site doesn't seem to be working now, maybe they're updating it?

That's ridiculous pricing, you could get a good smartphone and a 32GB iPod touch for that price, but as with all other Apple items people will lap it up, will the prices go down in the near future does anyone reckon?

This is incorrect. It's up to the networks to give Apple the go ahead to unlock your phone.
