Electronic Items From US

    Hey all,

Apologies if this is the wrong section. I want to import some computer parts from the US. I'll buy from New Egg and have them shipped to a friend in the US who will then ship to me.

Just curious is there a way I can work out how much I can possibly get charged if I do get stung by customs? What tips advice would u suggest for the label of the delivery? The real cost? Rounded down cost?

I'm not looking to make off with $5000 worth of items but rather spend about $700 on CPU,RAM,GFX,MOBO just so I can save a few quid. Is it pointless would the savings be minimal?

    Any tips advice really appreciated
