Meteor Micro Sims Availability Info

Hi all
We will have voice micro sims available from tomorrow in our stores.

There are two types of these voice micro sims.
1. Sims with phone numbers attached to them
2. Sims with no numbers attached / blank sims

The blank sims are those which would be used by someone who would like to swap their existing number on to a new micro sim. These won't be available for a couple of weeks.

We're sorry for this delay and we're working on getting them in as soon as we can.

Surely Meteor expected the majority of people switching to micro sim would be requesting blank sims? Obviously then just didn't prepare well enough..

Guess it will just be back to cutting sim

thinking of switching to a different provider have 3/vodafone/o2 got the micro sims? seems risky cutting my sim card!

yep, i done mine last week from a PDF download that was on here a few weeks back. very very easy to do. i didnt doa trial etc i just cut away.
edit - found it, so ive attached it up

so you'd move networks based on not getting a micro sim, its only a few weeks like. but hey, its a free world and all that so do what makes you happy.

the cutting is very very easy to do and doesnt involve cutting into the metal bit at all.

all the tarrifs are he same except for 3 which is better because of free internet. thats the one i was going to switch to. i have to wait 3 weeks for the phone so hopefully meteor will have the out by then

I can confirm that Voice Micro Sims are not available this morning. Only Data Micro sims are available , was in Meteor Grafton st at 9am, they said they have no idea when the voice ones are out. I have also rang Cust Care and they said the same. Some one made a fcuk up on their forums evidently.

did you try do a sim swap or port over?
as the micro sims available are only for new numbers which cant be ported seemly at the moment.
