    Inception star Tom Hardy has admitted having gay flings in the past - despite being engaged to British actress Charlotte Riley.
    The 32-year-old Brit says there's a simple explanation for the sexual experimentation.
    It's because he's an actor, naturally.
    Asked if he has ever had sex with other men she said: "As a boy? Of course I have. I'm an actor ... but now that I'm in my 30s, it doesn't do it for me.
    "A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities.
    "A lot of people say I seem masculine, but I don't feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine.
    "I'd love to be one of the boys but I always felt a bit on the outside.
    "Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I'm not one of the boys."

    Society for some reason feels compelled to pigeon-hole individuals into particular categories.

    It's not that simple.

    Fair play to him. More of the people you know personally than you realise have experimented/messed around.

    Doesn't mean they need to be put into, or out of a closet of any description.

    It's a brave admission when he is seemingly on the cusp of the A-list, what with Inception and the forthcoming Mad Max reboot. Hopefully his honesty doesn't come back to hurt him in Hollywood because he really is a fine actor. I enjoyed his work in Bronson and Inception, while I found his character in RocknRolla to be a riot.

    All this being said though, I'm bewildered at his "I'm an actor" comment, I don't know how that has anything to do with sexual experimentation. :confused: Unless he's taking method acting to a whole new level that is. :pac:

    Rovert, just so we're clear, Hardy is using the fact that he's an actor as an excuse for his homosexual dalliances. What the **** has homosexuality got to do with being an actor?

    To be fair actors talk a lot of shite! There is a picture of him on google images and he is posing a serious gay pose with his hand down his jocks.

    He is still a fine looking fellow. :)
