Best store to buy a wetsuit?

I need to ditch my current Portwest multi-purpose wetsuit and get into something that's gonna be swim specific

I'm leaning towards heading into a bricks and mortar shop for this one, and was hoping that some of ye could recommend from your experience places to go or places to avoid? I'm looking to buy somewhere around Dublin but will be in Galway in 2 weeks if there's someplace there. I've heard of shops like IrishFit, Wheelworx & Cyclesuperstore but don't know which is best.

So I guess I'm looking for somewhere with really good advice and a good selection of suits in stock - any recomendations please?

    Thanks

Edit: budget would be about €200 - €250

Wheelworx for me, I have found them quite good lately and prices are almost as competetive as online.

If you are looking for more of a personal touch, I find Trizone in Athlone (on your way to Galway perhaps) very good. The owner is sound and usually always in there and always cuts a good deal. Here is his website.

He doesn't seem to stock Blueseventy however if thats what you are looking for. Hope this helps :)

I think cyclesuperstore is the best for wetsuits, got a lovely 2xu one the a couple of weeks ago for 100e less than anywhere on the web.

I know three people of have bought bikes from wheelworx lately and none of them are fitted right on them, they don't even have the right size frames. I know wetsuits are easier to fit but if they'll sell u any old bike they'll do the same with wetsuits.

Which wheelworx shop do you go into mloc?
Not travelling through Athlone unfortunately El D - taking the scenic route to Galway over the course of a week :)

The only one now is beside Liffey Valley, pretty sure the old one in Clondalkin is closed.

I pointed a friend to this guy in Dun Laoghaire:

    http://www.irishfit.eu/menswetsuits.html

and he came back with a nice starter sub €200 orca tri wetsuit, and was happy with the experience.

    hope that helps.

I got a brand new Zoot Zenith from this crowd http://www.triathletesports.com/ for €260 incl delivery to Europe (they can't ship direct to Ireland though!) during their sale.

I let you check out the price for it in Ireland.
The best cyclestore could do at the time was €450...for one with rips and full of sand!

Nigels Cycles in Galway would do them as well Dusty

200-250 is loads for a wetsuit, I paid 159 for a starter wetsuit an Orca Equipe a couple of years back in Irish Fit and still have it, it does the job fine. Make sure and get a 5mm one as the 3mm ones give less buoyancy (leave the 3mm ones to the likes of Interested)

Bit late in the year to be buying wetsuits, or is it time to HTFU? You can have mine if youre brave enough to get it out of the boot of my car after last weekend... I think its the source of the stench anyway :D
