    Another thread here with starcraft ID's I'll add them all later and see how many of us are on, if we got 8 then we should do a big 4v4 would be a good laugh

    Anyone else feel free to add their ID's here, would be fantastic to have a huge big 4v4 without people disconnecting

    What kind of spec is needed for a 4v4?

    Have played the single player and 2v2 without problem but i guess a 4v4 might be too much for my laptop (pc still in ireland, wont arrive for another month or so :( )

    Sure can give it a try and see if it works :)

    4v4 seems to only go real laggy when there is a massive battle taking place.

    other than that, seems fine!

    im up for it.

    Okay lads, go to MIRC.com, get IRC down, join the server irc.quakenet.org and join the channel #starcraft.ie, I'll be on this evening and over the weekend, if we get 8 we'll have a game, whoever has the biggest dirtiest connection can host

    (we'll have to use IRC or whatever until the battlenet chat rooms get applied)

    Should be available to play tomorrow or the day after. I've played 4v4's before in the beta and they really need some form of voice communication beit skype or vent. It just gets far too hectic and typing just doesnt work. Plus its a great laugh hearing people panic over skype and then the induced nerd rage ;)
