    Hi

Anyone have any experience or tips about doing the MSc in Marketing at NCI? I have no primary degree but believe that my 14 years commercial experience should help regarding their Prior Learning Experience (PLE) piece. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

I haven't done that course.....the fact that you have that much experience behind you should help. maybe call admissions and suss out your eligiblity.

I can't see them being too stiff about entry requirements in the current environment.

Thanks for your reply. Spoke to the course director and it's the first year they're running the course so they couldn't tell me many details like the age demographic, hours per week and amount of students per class etc so I'm going to leave it and perhaps look at it again next year.

I doubt you will need a primary degree to get in. They might interview you if you do apply. But it would just be a casual thing. They are more interested in whether or not you have the few grand to pay the fees than anything else. :)

I don't know much about the course. However, there have been quite a few open days at the college. Maybe give the college a shout and ask them.

Also maybe look at a professional qualification in Marketing. You seem to have quite a bit of experience, so one of these courses may be more suitable and more practical. For more see: http://www.mii.ie/msc/

I think thats a good idea - There is often teething problems with new courses

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Hi have you looked into this course , interested in talking about feedback you may have received. Going to register on Monday but haven't completely made up my mind about it.

    Cheers

Did they run this course this year and get enough numbers for it? Didn't happen last year due to the poor uptake on it.
