    I used to have one of these years ago until it got stolen along with my car.

    Im just wondering if anyone out there has one they might sell as Im off to OZ later in the year for a month and would love to have one with me.

    I know they are prob old at this stage but I dont really like bearcats

    That model radio is just to old now the best radios on the market are the Bearcats especially this one UBC 3500XLT, its the business it has the new frequency spacing on the airband as well.

    cant go wrong with the vertex models i use one it's a vertex 710a it's the biz although a bit pricey.

    I would like one too, always wanted one when I was small and had no money.
    I now use an Icom R1, the latest is the small and portable R2. Great radio, but I still like the old Sony AIR 7.
    Hope you find one :)

    There is at least one Sony AIr 7 on Ebay (UK) at the moment.
    I would recommend a Uniden UBC 72XLT if you want something tidy for airband

    The Yupiteru MVT-7100 is also a good scanner - no longer in production but they do come up on Ebay from time to time.
