G&P Scope Magnifier

Anybody have the G&P523 Red/Green Dot scope? Any idea how to get the front lens cover off? Is there a knack to it or something?

I recently grabbed the 2x Magnifier for the scope but apparently need to 'remove' the front lens cover to be able to attach it. I've tried turning the cover and it does move a little but never seems to unscrew :(

I've checked the G&P site and it is the right magnifier for the scope.

Any help of advice is appreciated lads.

Push out the small pin on the top :)

Yeah that bit i can get off. It actually has a ring that goes around the scope though and its that bit that needs to come off, it seems to be a sort of slightly flexible plastic. Might just try pushing it off with something...

    Aha! Got it.

It looks like the lens cap's ring was just a very very tight fit. The edge of the table proved very useful. Pull down against edge, rotate, pull down, rotate.... eventually off it pops. Sorted :D
