I am a really art and crafty person, I just love making stuff I enjoy sewing making bracelets, paper mache, pottery etc.

I am 17, and thought it would be nice to do some arts/crafts with my bf to get him off the xbox for once but I am not too sure on what to do it would be nice if we could make something to give to each other or something hope you can help :)

I've given various craft classes over the years and the ones I found most popular with the lads are: plaster-casting, mosaics, making candles and (occasionally) making cards.

I love card making and scrap booking, but they're not my boyfriend's thing! We tend to stick on some music and he gets stuck into painting or even wood carvings sometimes. If your boyf doesn't feel that he's "good" at painting, get him to copy/ trace pics he likes onto canvas through a light box method, and paint from there- just like colouring in!!

Trust me! This is great fun with your partner. Im big in to art myself while my boyfirend is a musician and in to PS3. Last year, I bought the plaster casting equipment in a local craft shop, loads of vaseline too.
Then one day, I covered my whole front torso with vaseline (make it easier to peel off) and he had to place it evenly on my whole front. It had to be done fast as it dries fairly quicly and you have to stay very still. Soon, after a few mins of waiting (ok, about 10-20), we gently peeled it off of me and Da da, I have a solid plaster cast of my torso. You can then, paint it or mosaic or whatever you want and hang it up. Ive even seen ceramic ones made and they look amazing when done. many women do them when they're pregnant and have the full bump for keepsake.

    Have fun.
