I've been looking for a 2002 or 2003 Landcruiser for a while now. The last of that shape in a passenger version.
A few years ago they were for sale everywhere, but now I'm finding it very difficult to find one.

I'm looking for Irish, UK or Jap, don't mind which. I know the late Irish/UK ones have the d4d, better that the 1KZ, but I wouldn't mind either.

So have ye seen any good ones about?

    :)

Passenger versions are rare enough in this country. Most have been converted to commercial

Keep an eye on the UK sites. Is it something like the one below you are after?

Thats what I'm after alright. There are a few on the UK sites, but they have tan/brown leather.... yuck !!
Only grey cloth or leather for me.

Plenty of comm Irish ones about, but the sh1t has been driven out of them.

I'm going to commercialise it Colm. Want a passenger version for the higher spec though. Most Irish comm's are very basic spec.

What's involved in commercializing a passenger vehicle?

Sorry to open an old thread.

    Thanks

Plenty of threads in this section relating to the conversion. Very easy to do when the vehicle is already Irish registered. Do a search for "commercial"

Is it true that If you have a Vat number you are exempt from this new road tax shambles?

No, you still still have to sign your life away and don't get caught using it other than for business. VAT No is only one of the possible requirements for commercial tax
