    Very strange , I get a dns error when trying to access
    www.o2online.ie from home (BT broadband) , yet from DCU it works fine ...

    Without being a smartass, sounds like a DNS error at the BT end:) Annoying but not uncommon. Strange when it happens with their own company though...

    You could override the settings by adding the server address to your hosts file.. that's assuming that it is just a DNS issues and they are not actually blocking you from the IP.

    enter open dns ip as your secondary dns server
