I got this top/dress thing in H and M and its absolutely gorgeous on (looks cat on the hanger)

I want to put something with it that will make it look quite funky and edgy. maybe a bright colour or something.

    Suggestions please?

Why didn't I think of it before.

I'm thinking purple tights and a black blazer.

    Really cool dress :)

Personally I'd just wear it with black opaques, I think coloured tights might make it look a bit OTT- but I'd add colour to the look by wearing colourful earrings, a chunky bracelet (or more than one) and definitely bright nail varnish, like in a hot pink colour.

I think the idea of a blazer sounds really nice!

Maybe a grey blazer, or nude coloured short cardi, with red/hot pink shoes, with some coloured lippy of your choice?

  • I agree about the opaque tights, I'd wear those and a black or grey plain blazer and then heavy eyeliner, lots of bangles/bracelets and a really bright nail polish like fuchsia (or any Barry M colour!)

Cool dress! If you go with the blazer then what about a thin red belt and red high heels...

Perhaps a whistle and a red and yellow card? Ah no OP, you'd have to wear something low key, perhaps shoes like these? :)

Black blazer and tights with plain enough heels maybe? It's already pretty edgy so not a lot is needed!

I'd stick with the monochrome theme and go with opaque tights with heels and chunky black or white accessories.

Forgot to mention that I'll be at a festival, so it will be worn more than likely with boots.

I'll definitely put the blazer with it, I really like the idea of a skinny red belt!

me too a red belt would give a nice bit of colour
it would be lovely with a grey or black blazer and black shoes. Im not a big fan of coloured tights myself

Yeah neither am I to be honest. But theyd be a cheap way to bring a bit of colour into it.

I just have this idea in my head of a pair of really rich purple tights peeping between the dress and the boots but as with most things in my head, it will probably look disasterous when I put it together.
