I would. No prohibition on it around here. Of course, there are prohibitions on doing it and getting drunk.

Why would you want to bring a gun to a pub.Is it just me or is that intent to shoot someone.

The 'Westies' - to use their Paul Williams name - were. I'm sure others are or have been at various stages too.

I worked in tenerife for a few summers, id imagine its very similar to the costas i.e gangster central. Drugs run the island and are everywhere in the bars/clubs. Anytime I had friends over I would always tell them to not get in fights, and if they did to walk away and dont get involved, no matter what happened, you judt dont know who you're dealing with. I know it could be said for anywhere in the world but in tenerife or these types of holiday resorts you could be sat beside one of the islands main drug gangsters and just think he was another pissed holidaymaker.

I hope this wasnt the case with this man, but i seen it so many times, lads getting the **** beat out of them for getting involved with the WRONG person, and in this case even worse.

My condolences to his family and friends,a completely senseless killing.

I'd be surprised if the shooter could conceal a hand gun particularly if was shorts and t-shirt weather. If it wasn't concealed then that mmight tell you all you need to know about the type of area that it was.

He went away and came back with the gun.

My sympathies go to this poor man's family.
it seemed he was a decent bloke who was in the wrong place at ........

i used to go to the Costa del Sol quite a bit. owned an apt out there. best move i ever made was selling it.

the place is literally crawling with low-life drug-dealer types.
what i find ironic is how so many well healed Dubliners, Brits etc. people go on hols and sit/drink, fraternise with people, that they spend the rest of the year trying desperately to avoid.

i mean would you normally go to a restaurant/club/pub that you knew to be populated by these low-lifes?
in many cases they own the pubs/clubs!

my advice is to be extremely careful if you go to the Costa del Crime.
some of these scum will deliberately pick an argument knowing they have the firepower if needed.

He did,nt have the gun with him, he left and came back with it.... caused the end of a life and ruined the lives of many many people. He was an amazing father, so many dads dont care, but now his partner has to be a parent all on her own after having had the support of a wonderful man, her best friend. RIP

Just be careful making sad ass comments because you dont know anything about the people you are hurting, its very insensitive. That poor man could have friends or family on here.
