    im lookin for a piston for a 99 punto 1.2, anyone with a scrapped engine out there?

    Try a scrappers yards using www.partfinder.ie

    Probably easier to drop a new engine in than replace a single piston...

    tried all the usual channels, prefer to rebuild than drop in a secondhand lump,at least i'l know what i have when im finished, still looking!

    Might be able to get you a whole engine at a cheap price(head gasket gone:P) But might suit you for spares if your interested.

    The engines down in Kildare in my Dads garage, i'll be talking to
    him tomorrow so will get the full details.
    Its a 00 engine though €50 i reckon is a fair price.

    Rang home sorry the engine was scrapped two weeks ago, feckin
    thing was at the back of the shed for a year before that.

    Hope you you can still manage to get one.
