    Guys,

How many hybrids do you have in the bag? I have a 19,22,26 deg hybrids and i take out the 3-5 irons to accommdate the hybrids.:D

Recently i have started to hit the 4-5 irons really well and with great distance and with great ease nowadays. Now i dont know whether to take out the hybrids and put back the irons for my next round.:confused::confused::confused:

Nice dilema to have, generally speaking if I'm playing a links course I leave the hybrids at home and if I'm playing a parkland with a lot of long par 4's I put to them in the bag.

Haven't got hybrid in the bag but my mate hits a big ball with them off the fairways. What would you recommend as a first buy?

as a first one i'd got for a 21 degree.
I have a cheapo one and can hit it from nearly any lie, soon to be upgraded though.

I started out with a 26deg hybrid, super little club the Cobra Baffler and then i added 22 and then 19. I use the 19deg hybrid for teeing off sometimes!!!:):)

I have a couple of Mizuno Fli Hi II hybrid irons and a Ben Hogan CFT hybrid as well.

Specially made 16 deg my uncle got from the Mizuno factory while in Japan and my standard 21 deg. My fairway finders and have been my favorite clubs in the bag for around 4-5 years now.

The CFT I don't really use much. But it's very similar to the old Taylormade Rescue Mid club.

On topic or be banned for 7 days

If someone posts something juvenile ignore it. In fact if someone does this repeatedly just ignore all of that users posts. Click on their name and choose ignore.

Do not respond to trolls in thread, it takes it off topic and ends up in a thread lock.

This is happening too often on here, anymore junk/trolling posts will result in an automatic 7 day ban. Subsequent offenses will result in a longer/permanent ban. You know who you are and you have received your final warning.

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban results in a permanent boards.ie site ban for any accounts linked to your IP address.

I have two hybrids, a 17deg and a 20deg. I will take out the 20deg and put back in 3 iron for most links courses, the 17 goes and is replaced by a 60deg wedge depending on the course im playing.

Both are Mizuno Fli-Hi CLK. Much easier to hit than a 3 iron, so if its consistency you are looking for make the switch.

I have a 19 degree Titleist 909H which is a permanent fixture in the bag. I also have a 15 degree which I sometimes use instead of the 3 wood. I still always carry a 3 iron.

Here here! Down with that sort of thing.

I personally really like Hybrids and would heartily recommend said species to all golfers. Male ones too.

LittleLiam will be busy enjoying his 7-day holiday.

    what degree would a 3-wood and a 5-wood be?

I used to be able to hit my 5-wood great but it is bent out of shape at this stage so considering getting a hybrid instead.

Around 15 and 18 degrees but probably varies a bit too depending on the make/model.

yea mines are 16 and 21 i believe. On the market for new ones, well 3 wood anyway... there 10 years old now id say.

I use an 18 degree in replacement for my 3 iron (which stays at home). It has been shafted with 2 iron length also.
