Kathy French - why the huge effort from the Gardai?

    I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of the huge fuss and effort made by the Gardai over this woman (famous for what?), yet I can look out the window of my apartment and see underage drinking, drug dealing, violence, etc' and no gardai to prevent these things from happening!

    She chose to pursue that lifestyle and to associate with these people. I'm sure some of you will be appalled at the sentiment I'm expressing here but surely this is little more than a huge publicity stunt for the Gardai?

    I'd much prefer to see a greater effort in local communities from the Gardai than this...

    Replace "Gardaí" with "media".

    + 1 . No evidence to suggest the Gardai are doing anything out of the ordinary but the tabloids and crap like TV3 make a big deal out of anything to do with '' the much-loved Katy '' .
