Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recycling Used Oil Cans

All our engine oil seems to come in plastic cans nowadays. The cans have the triangular recycling symbol on the bottom with the figure "2" in it, which is the same as many other plastic bottles that are recycled. So they should be OK for recycling.

However, oil is a hazardous material and obviously the cans have been in contact with the oil. So are oil cans to be regarded as "contaminated" which would mean that you can't put them in your recycling bank?
