Ive found myself just outside Dublin and I really want to get the chance to learn to surf this summer.... so im after advice...

I need to kind of find out where the best place would be for us to go. We dont have any transport so would have to rely on public transport and we have no equipment other than a pair o' speedos and a smile....

so, if anyone has any advice of the most convenient places to get to, that would be great!

Seeing two surf schools on the beach in Enniscrone on regular basis, I would recommend that spot, because it has waves most of the days and the beach is very very safe.

But I don't know if there is a direct link. Going either to Sligo or to Ballina by train and then local bus. Or a car, of course, as the most reliable public transport.
