    Hi All,
Just wondering if you could throw out a few ideas for city breaks.
Have been to Nice, Paris. Edinburgh and London.

Heard a lot about Prague and Budapest but not sure. Hoping to go the end of September or sometime in October.

    Thanks:)

Berlin is very nice, lots to see, nice restaurants, as with most german cities its very accessible too.

Have heard good things about Budapest too and Malev (their national airline) have some good fares.

If you can get accommodation for Oktoberfest I'd recommend that, best fun ever. It's on from late Sept to early Oct.

Barcelona is great, something for everyone.

Rome - if you like history and/or shopping.

Prague is lovely, it's been a long time since I've been, I believe it's now popular with Stags and hens which may put some off.

Venice, not a typical city break, very touristy but worth seeing.

    Good luck with your plans!

Krakow or Berlin, both great cities to visit. Krakow probably more suited to a shorter trip.

Barcelona for me; you'll still have the weather that time of year wheras central and eastern Europe could be touch and go,

Vilnius. Small compact city not over crowded and very reasonably priced for food and drinks

Cadiz or Seville in south of Spain are both nice cities. Cadiz is on the coast so has miles of beaches and weather will still be good that time of year. San Sebastian in the north of Spain is also a great city with lots to do in the area. It depends what you want I suppose from the city break.

How about Rome? Would also be good that time of year to visit.

And it's cheaper. Plenty to do there as well.

Meaningless to throw names at you unless you let people know what sort of break you're after. Romantic? Solpadeine & AK47s? Easy going? Bit of/Lot of culture? Climate? Happy to be self-contained/prefer to mingle?

Vienna is a great place to go on a city break. There's so much to do, the city is beautiful and their cakes (particularly Sachertorte and Apple Strudel) are delicious.
