    Was on the verge of doing it after I broke up with my ex,but its the only way I communicate with some distant friends, stupid thing.

    Yeah - I have cousins in England and all and it is a way to keep in touch but its really s**t though isnt it!:)

    Deleted mine 3 months ago. It took 2 attempts and it takes 2 week from the time you ask for it to be deleted, if you try and login during that time you have to go through the process all over again. If you are going to delete then you need to take everything off your page first, pics, info and all your wall posts etc. This can take a while but is a trip down memory lane.

    Deactivated accounts still have all the info on them so you might want to take that stuff off too.

    Remember, facebook information IS shared with people who you might not want it shared with
