    Hi,

I am struggling to find a supplier for a house name plaque for the stone wall in front of the house. I have tried a google search etc... but to no avail.

I am based in the Limerick area if anyone has any recommendations..

Also, has anyone got an idea of roughly how much one of these cost?

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Contact your local undertaker, they will have the names of all the best stone engravers and marble, limestone, polished stone suppliers...:)

    Cheers Tom....

I was actually thinking of doing that but was going to leave it as a last resort to be honest... Thought they might think that I was taking the pee...

    Thanks again,

    Mike.

Rang a local headstone manufacturer yesterday.

They do make limestone house-name plaques and the cost is between €80 and €90.

Yeah, I got some very good advice from one about the choice of stone to use for a door step and what finish to put on it, they work with stone all the time.

Glad it worked out for you.

    Hi Mike,

I recently got a family name carved into a Granite slab. I have attached a pic and can forward the guys details if you need. He did it for €100.

    Regards
